Flow & Restore

Flow & Restore classes combine the energizing and strengthening aspects of Vinyasa yoga with deep relaxation, creating a harmonious symphony of strength and tranquility. The beauty of this yoga style is that it invites practitioners to engage wholeheartedly with both movement and stillness, prompting personal exploration and healing as well as real transformation.

Suitable for any age or ability level. All Yoga Alliance instructors are trained to meet students where they are in their practice, with safe and supportive adjustments that offer an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the postures.

This class begins with a slow and gentle yoga flow to warm up the body, before settling into a relaxing restorative practice using props. It is a perfect way to improve flexibility and release stress. This class concludes with guided meditation and extended savasana. This is a therapeutic and relaxing yoga class that supports the body during pregnancy, alleviating common pregnancy-related ailments. The class uses a combination of seated, kneeling, standing and restorative poses, with the aim of building strength and stability in the pelvic floor, torso and spine, improving alignment, and offering space for the baby to grow, while promoting calmness in the mind. This is a safe and gentle class for pregnant women in any stage of their pregnancy.

50/50 -Barre & Yoga

This is a full body experience that uses lightweight, repetitive movements to strengthen and tone the body, with the added benefits of breathing techniques, calming movement and an extended savasana. It is set to heart pumping music to help motivate you, but is still appropriate for most people who are not very athletic.

Core Flow – This class is a blend of Yoga and Pilates that focus on the core muscles. It is recommended to practice this class on an empty stomach or after a light snack.

Gentle Flow – This is a slow paced and gentle flow that is more focused on the alignment of the postures, and the use of props to assist in the understanding of the poses. This is a good class for beginners or those who have injuries or are recovering from surgeries or illnesses.

Elder Flow – This is a gently flowing yoga class that provides a longer warm up, postures that strengthen bone and stretch muscle, all combined with an awareness of breath. This is a great class for older adults who are looking to move their bodies in a safe and controlled manner that promotes balance and enhances mental and physical wellbeing.

BIPOC Yoga – This is a monthly yoga offering that welcomes Black, Indigenous and People of Color to explore a blend of postures that open and energize the body as well as postures that sooth and soothe. This is a safe, supportive, and joyful space for people of color to gather together and grow their own yoga practice with the support of community.

Yoga Therapy is a holistic form of therapy that combines physical movement with mindfulness and breath work to improve overall wellbeing. It is a powerful tool that can be used to manage pain, increase mobility and reduce anxiety and depression. This class is led by a certified Yoga Therapist and will provide a tailored practice to suit individual needs.
